Ismael Wylie aka "Izzy Wyldman" was born in San Antonio, Texas, where he grew up in a Pentecostal church. One Sunday morning, Ismael's uncle was invited to make a special guest appearance to play for the church congregation.

It was during his uncle's playing that Ismael felt the call and desire to learn to play the instrument. That very night, Ismael's grandfather, who had taught his uncle, began to teach him. Ismael was 14 years old. And the rest is history!

 

In 2008, Ismael joined a classic rock band called The Ages Of Rock in San Antonio, Texas, and in 2010 joined Marq Roberts & The Texas Hurricanes and traveled throughout Texas. It was while a member of The Texas Hurricanes that Ismael was branded the alias "Izzy Wyldman" on account of his wild and crazy guitar solos!

 

Today, Izzy shares the love of music from all types of music genres! Izzy performs classic rock, country, blues, pop, jazz standards, bossa novas, Christian and much more! Amongst the many artists Izzy covers are:
